RETURNS/EXCHANGES
 

What is your return/exchange policy? How do I return merchandise?
 

  • We accept returnable items within 30 days of the shipment date.
  • All items must be returned in their original condition. All tags must still be attached to the product. Products that have been returned after 30 days or have appeared to be worn will be returned back to the customer.
  • All sunglasses and watches carry a limited Manufacturer’s warranty. Please contact the manufacturer for warranty info.
  • Exchanges only for items of equal/lesser value of original item purchased.  We do not have authorization to charge your card the difference.
  • To return or exchange an item, fill out the Merchandise Return/Exchange form completely. This form can be found with the invoice. If you do not have the form, provide the following information with your return/exchange: name, address, email address, phone number and the order number. Please make sure that you state whether you are sending a return or exchange.
  • Enclose the form with the merchandise you're returning/exchanging to ensure proper credit. We are not responsible for packages lost during the return. Therefore, we highly recommend that you use USPS, UPS, or another service to ship your returns or exchanges to Beach Bums.
  • You will be credited for the cost of the items and applicable taxes. Shipping is not refunded.
  • We DO NOT accept C.O.D.'s on return items. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

Can I return an item to one of your store locations?

If you are nearby one of our store locations you may exchange your item for merchandise of equal value to the original. Our store locations do not have access to credit your card.  All returns for refunds must be sent to the address above.
When will my credit appear on my account?
Returns and Exchanges are processed within 5-10 business days once we have received merchandise. You will receive an email notification once your return or exchange is processed. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for your credit to appear on your credit card statement. Credit card companies vary in the time it takes for a credit to appear on a monthly statement.

What shipping methods do you offer?


    *BUSINESS DAY SHIPPING ONLY, NO WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS*
UPS Ground - Delivered within 5 to 7 BUSINESS DAYS from the shipping date.
UPS 2nd Day - Delivered within 2 BUSINESS DAYS from the shipping date.
UPS Overnight - Delivered the NEXT BUSINESS DAY from the shipping date.
Priority Mail via USPS - Delivered within 2 to 4 days from the shipping date.
Parcel Mail via USPS - Delivered within 4 to 7 days from the shipping date.
 

All deliveries are pending merchandise availability and credit approval. Please be aware that all shipping time is from the day your order leaves our warehouse, not the day you place an order.
Shipping times for USPS are not guaranteed with the times specified above and USPS does not     offer a reliable way to track your package.
All shipping to APO/FPO addresses and PO Boxes will be shipped via USPS. Military addresses may take up to 14 days or longer for delivery.
Express delivery is available to orders within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. Express shipping is not available to PO Boxes, APO/FPO and Canadian addresses.
All shipping prices vary on the package's weight and shipping destination.

Do you ship internationally?


At this time we only ship within the United States, Canada, and APO/FPO addresses, but we are exploring the possibility of shipping to other countries in the future.
All International orders shipping to Canada will be through UPS Standard and delivery time can be expected within 7-10 days from shipping date. Orders may be subject to Customs Fees at the time of delivery.
    *Please note: Canadian orders may be subject to import fees imposed by the Canadian     Government. These fees are determined and charged by Customs. Payment will need to be     made to the shipper for all fees when the product arrives at your door.

FREE SHIPPING OPTION


How Does the Free Shipping Option Work?
This option appears automatically during checkout when your order qualifies and will be sent via UPS ground. All international, APO/FPO addresses, PO Boxes and Express shipping options DO NOT qualify for free shipping.

ORDER STATUS/TRACKING ORDERS


When will my order ship?
Most orders placed Mon - Fri are shipped within 1-2 business days. All deliveries are pending credit approval, merchandise availability, delivery and weather conditions.
 

How do I know my order shipped?
A Confirmation email will be sent to you with your tracking number once your order has shipped.  If you do not receive a Confirmation email, please contact Customer Service Mon-Fri 9am to 5:30pm PST at (800) 431-4288 or email: info@beachbums.com and we will assist you in getting your tracking number.  
 

How can I track my order?
You can track your order using the tracking number supplied in the Confirmation email sent to you when your order was shipped. The tracking number is also located on your personal account page. If you have not created a Beach Bums Account this option is not available, please contact Customer Service Mon-Fri at (800) 431-4288 between 9am to 5:30pm PST. You may also go to www.ups.com and “track” your order using your tracking number or contact UPS at (800)-742-5877.
 

What if I did not receive my order?
If you have not yet received your order please visit your personal account page on www.beachbums.com to check the order status. If you have not created a Beach Bums Account, this option is not available, please contact Customer Service Monday-Friday at (800) 431-4288 between 9am to 5:30pm. PST.
If the status shows “pending,” your order is still being processed. Processing may take longer than usual depending on merchandise availability or if we require verification of the order.
Occasionally, items listed online may not be available at the time your order is placed. If an item is not available we will attempt to contact you by email and/or phone. If we do not receive a response within two weeks we will ship your order with the available items. If we do not have over sixty percent of your order in stock and we do not receive a response within the two weeks your order will be canceled and your account will be closed. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept back orders at this time.
 

What happens if I receive incorrect merchandise?
If you have received incorrect merchandise please contact our Customer Service department immediately Mon-Fri at (800) 431-4288 between 9am to 5:30pm PST. If it is determined that we made a mistake, we will send you a return label to ship the incorrect merchandise back to us at no cost to you.
 

PAYMENT INFORMATION


What are my payment options?
We offer a variety of credit card options for you to choose from: Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express. If your a visitor from the Online Exchange Mall we also offer the option to pay using your "Star" card.
Regardless of the method you choose, you will be required to enter your billing address in the supplied fields. This information must be supplied exactly as it appears on your credit card statement.

When will I be charged for my purchases?
Your credit card will be charged once your order has been shipped, until then your authorization will remain in pending.
Orders will be processed and shipped pending credit card authorization. When you place an order, Beach Bums will pre-authorize your credit card to ensure the funds are available. If you are using MasterCard or Visa, the pre-authorization may appear as if you have been charged. With some institutions' cards, the funds become unavailable, but the account is not debited until the order ships. If the order is cancelled or failed for any reason, the time it takes for the hold to release depends on the issuer of the card (approx. 5 business days)
 

Why do I have to pay sales Tax?
If you are a resident of California or if you are having products shipped to a California address, you have to pay sales tax on all purchases. If you are outside California, your orders are tax-free.
 

ORDER CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS


Can I cancel or change an order after it has been placed?
Orders can be canceled or modified as long as they have not been shipped. Please call or email Customer Service ASAP if you need to cancel or change an order. Any changes may cause a delay in shipping your order.
 

I canceled my order but why am I still seeing a charge?
This is a pending authorization NOT a charge. When you place an order, Beach Bums will pre-authorize your credit card to ensure the funds are available. If you are using MasterCard or Visa, the pre-authorization may appear as if you have been charged. With some institutions' cards, the funds become unavailable, but the account is not debited until the order ships. If the order is canceled for any reason, the time it takes for the hold to release depends on the issuer of the card (approx. 5 business days).
